I first heard about National Novel Writing Month (“NaNoWriMo” to those in the know) a few years back. I’ve made various attempts but never really got past NaShoRaWe (National Short Randomness Week – my own special little holiday).
So, I’m not a novel-writer (yet!) but I do have this blog. Enter, our current challenge – National Blog Posting Month. I will try to post something here to the blog every day in November. Yep, even weekends.
The challenge here – for me – is posting something every day that I actually think warrants posting. No posting for posting’s sake. I won’t waste your time (or mine) on fluff just to “win” at this challenge. That would be cheating.

I’ve done this for three years now and I definitely have a photo picture every Wednesday. “Cheater” posts if you will. In my defense I post Wordless Wednesday often enough when it isn’t NaBloPoMo!
Haha, Wordless Wednesday is pretty popular/common, so I don’t think that’s cheating!
I did it in January and may do it again — just to prove to myself I can! The only annoying thing is that, unlike NaNoWriMo, they run it every single month of the year; takes away the specialness a bit.
