Preparing for the Weekend
My weekend starts tonight, folks.
My lovely mother and sister are throwing me a Bachelorette party on Saturday and two of my cousins are coming in tonight and tomorrow to celebrate with us. These cousins are sisters themselves and perfectly aged to correspond with Kerry and I. Some of my happiest childhood memories were spent with them at their house in Maryland and on the Atlantic coast.

I sincerely treasure any time my cousins and I can spend together.
Sap aside, hosting guests has been great impetus to get small projects done. I finally recovered the cushion on the telephone table (thought it still needs to be sanded and re-stained, full pictures later).
One of my cousins is very allergic to cats, so I’ve been sweeping, dusting, and running every soft surface through the washing machine in an attempt to quell an asthma attack. My place is super-clean.
Tomorrow will be spent eating pizza, playing dominoes, and doing a lot of nothing together. I’m very excited.

You are such a nice cousin, I am allergic to cats too and I have some family members whose houses I have never been to since they would never clean like that for me!
