Headboad Update
After much debate, Will and I recently ordered a headboard. The winner? The Slipcover-Ready Upholstered Headboard from Target.
We’d been discussing upholstered headboards for so long, it was hard to get excited about anything else. The main thing keeping us from ordering a bed we found awhile back was the idea that the cats (to be clear, Odie) would destroy it. Sure, we could train him or something but he’s a cat. Training a cat is largely fallacy. Trust.
But this one – it even has “slipcover-ready” in the title! If it ever get destroyed (or, if we ever want to change the decoration in the bedroom), I can just make a new slipcover. Easy-Peasy.
When we placed the order, we were told it wouldn’t arrive until July 19. Bummerz. However, it came yesterday! We set it up in about 20 minutes and are now enjoying checking that task off the list of small decorative to-dos (perhaps I keep that list more faithfully that Will).
Even with a headboard, our bed was still a mess, so I’ll save the “look at it all set up in our bedroom!” pictures for when I make the first slipcover.
