Color Crush: Lucky Green

Green is my favorite color – I’m always looking for ways to bring pops of green into our home. Currently, our bathroom and one part of our bedroom are a sea glass/guacamole type color. Yes, “sea glass/guacamole” – think about it.

March is the perfect month to showcase some of my favorite bits of green: St Patrick’s Day is coming up and the warm weather we are having makes me think of spring.

I love this green dining space from House to Home (and the fretwork wainscoting is completely amazing):

I love these kitchen cabinets:

For just a pop of green, Gabrielle of Design Mom painted her piano a fun grass green:

Juliet Totten‘s home tour on Design*Sponge featured this spring green painted beauty:

For a wee pop of color, look at this beautiful green lamp in an entryway featured in the September 2010 issue of House & Home:

What’s your favorite color? Do you make an effort to feature it in your home?

Glittery pink of course! And watermelon slice. I LOVE pink! I think it happened the day i had a baby girl. We didn’t know her gender because i was not going to be “that mom.” Oh, you meant adult colors: sage, winter wheat’ and a burnt burgandy.

Turquoise is my favorite and I have to make an effort NOT to go overboard, haha. Its in every nook and cranny, although I’m starting to do a better job of integrating it with neutrals
