Notes from Alt: Best Business Cards (Vol. 1)
Non-bloggers may not know this, but most of us bloggers have business cards. Yep, just like you have business cards for your job. Why? Precisely for meet-ups and conferences like Alt Summit where we want to collect and trade blog links and Twitter handles.
I’ve collected so many lovely cards over the past few days - I had to share a few of my faves. Being surrounded by such creative people has been such an inspiration. These aren’t your standard calling cards.
- Look at the beautiful scripty-calligraphic fonts on these cards from There Comes a Yes and How Joyful.
- The following card from Brandi Bernoskie is deliciously vague. Who wouldn’t want to check out her site after receiving this?
- Heather Davidson of Joy of All Crafts had such a clever idea – she sewed fabric to the back of her cards. So appropriate for a craft blogger! She blogged about the process as well, and I adore that she included “trial and error.”
- Hillary Schuster did a fantastic job with personal branding – the picture below is also her blog and Twitter image. The party hat is famous; I got asked if I was “the party hat girl” and … part of me wanted to say yes.
Yes, there are more. This post had to be a two-fer to share all the lovely!
