Home Candy: Bed Nooks
Winter is coming, friends, and for me, that means one thing: hibernation! I love curling up with tea and a good book. I’ve been known to spend entire Sundays in pajama pants. For that reason, the idea of a cozy sleeping nook is really appealing to me lately.
This nook is perfection – a large window and shelves for your books:
This one has a fire place:
Check out the window on this alcove bed from Hotel Aire de Bardenas in Navarre, Spain (as featured in Apartment Therapy)!
This gem from the New York Times is straight out of a dream:
The colorful pillows here make me want to dive in:
Now, get read for some bunk-bed-bliss:

Bring on the snow days!

Lovely and cozy. I wouldn’t want to sleep nights in most of them, but for reading and napping — perfect.
It’s not quite the same, but we got a fantastic leather easy chair and ottoman from my in-laws, and come January Matthew will have a hard time getting me out of it… just me, a blanket, a book and a cuppa.
also, that second-to-last picture reminds me of the cribs that were in our church nursery when I was a tween… they were two-by-two stacked with bars you could bring down and lock. sort of like puppy cages for babies
Haha, I love the puppy cage idea!
Oh wow, I love this idea. And that one with the fireplace especially. I would never leave the house. And when I say “house” I mean “bed.”
Amen. I like the ones with the book shelves nearby so you could read and sleep the day away.
All of these look so cozy and lovely! Your blog is so cute
xo, Kinsey
Love these cozy little nooks!
